What community indicators have we reached this month? How many households were involved in our programs? What does the data show?

Our Flagship Program for Non-Profits

is a 12-month MERLA program which pairs your organization with a MERLA expert and provides you with training, ongoing coaching and support, data collection and reporting services, and an annual program evaluation.

2. Strategic Planning

Agenda One develops a customized plan for MERLA that can be used in your organization. This co-creative process involves collaboration and engagement from your organization's leadership and key program staff.

  1. Define your organization's objectives for MERLA

  2. Conduct a desk review of theory and practice on similar policies and/or interventions

  3. Develop a logic model

  4. Define indicators to be measured

  5. Create a plan for data collection and design customized monthly reporting forms

3. Monthly Reporting

Agenda One collects and analyzes monthly reports directly from your program directors and coordinators. Monthly reports are submitted by your program directors (or relevant staff) to our online platform. Next, we'll do the work of developing a monthly report showcasing your outcomes and key data points. We provide ongoing coaching for MERLA throughout this process.

4. Annual Evaluation

Finally, Agenda One conducts an annual in-depth evaluation of your organization's programs and impact. Our annual evaluation involves utilizing data obtained through monthly reports, and implementing a mixed-methods evaluation involving interviews and surveys with staff, board members, volunteers, program beneficiaries, and stakeholders.

We develop and provide you with a high-quality annual evaluation report that can be shared with funders, stakeholders, and the communities in which you work.
